Relaxation at sea

As soon as the city lights go on and Manhattan’s futuristic skyline illuminates the night, the most beautiful yacht in the world sets sail on her great cruise across the ocean. Look forward to days that belong to you and you alone, and lots of time to take advantage of the many different facilities we offer on board. A pleasing world of wellness welcomes you in the OCEAN SPA with soothing massages, beauty treatments, a sauna and a steam bath. Perhaps you would like to greet the day with a circuit on the jogging route or reinvigorate yourself at a yoga class in the fitness area? You could spend a relaxed afternoon on the Lido Deck enjoying a latte macchiato and a delicious waffle as you look out at the infinite sea view. The evening is truly a time to be relished, such as in the “Restaurant Dieter Müller” where the cuisine is modern and Michelin-starred, or when superb culinary highlights entice you into the EUROPA Restaurant. There was a time was when even ships were rewarded for superb achievements: for the fastest Atlantic crossing, passenger liners received the Blue Riband – as did the very first EUROPA. And what is your first thought when you think of the turbulent 1930s? Godet skirts, the Charleston, Marlene Dietrich? Immerse yourself in this fascinating era, and join us as the champagne corks pop at our evening fancy dress party. Next morning you can get back to doing sweet nothing, just listening to the waves or reading a good book – those little things in life for which there is all the space and room you could want on board. A time that is both peaceful and inspiring awaits you on the wide expanse of the Atlantic Ocean.

Wilhelm Rieber – living for time

From a family of watchmakers with a tradition going back over 220 years, Wilhelm Rieber specialises in tourbillon watches. "My goal was to produce what is perhaps the most difficult type of watch and to make all the parts myself." The master watchmaker is still pursuing this passion today. Since then, Rieber has made one tourbillon per year; he also makes one-off pieces for celebrities such as Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher and for collectors worldwide. As well as producing exquisite tourbillons, Wilhelm Rieber restores antique and old watches for private individuals and museums around the world.

On board the EUROPA, Wilhelm Rieber will welcome you with a fascinating talk about watches and tourbillons entitled "A journey through time - eye to eye with time". He is looking forward to inducting you into the history of horology in seafaring and familiarising you with the key milestones. In an exclusive on board the world's most beautiful yacht, Wilhelm Rieber will complete his transatlantic tourbillon, which will then be brought to life by the captain. A tangible piece of life and a true one-off that will both measure and outlast time.

As a guest on board the EUROPA, you will then have the opportunity to bid for this combination of masterpiece and jewellery at auction - an everlasting memento - and have it engraved by hand.
