Greet the most famous ships on the oceans and join in the colourful programme at the Landungsbrücken jetties. We have reserved an exclusive front-row seat for you on board. Wave to thousands of enthusiastic spectators from the ship’s rail as the World’s Most Beautiful Yacht joins the departure parade. After the fireworks, the EUROPA leaves the Hanseatic city.

See the traditional thatched roofs, the decorated houses of sea captains and the romantic farmers’ gardens of Keitum on an island tour in an old-fashioned classic bus*. Out and about, you have more opportunity to enjoy wonderful views of Sylt’s protected natural landscape. Velkommen and Skael! Chink glasses at Icebar* with a welcome drink to the coming days. It’s true that Oslo is one of Europe’s smallest capitals, but it is packed with sights. In Vigeland Park*, about 200 sculptures constitute the life’s work of the sculptor; every year in the town hall, the Nobel Prize is awarded; and ski jumpers compete on Holmenkollen. The Bygdoey museum island* tells the story of Nordic men. Along with Viking ships, you can also find the ships of Thor Heyedahl and Roald Amundsen.

Twelve tram lines run through Goeteborg and give the city its special charm. Climb aboard a nostalgic tram* and experience the real Goeteborg lifestyle on your trip along the Avenyn. A detour to the narrow side streets of the trendy quarter of Haga* invites you to saunter through second-hand shops and boutiques or to take a break in a cosy cafe. Discover a fascinating contemporary history in Tjoloeholm country house*: at the turn of the century, the manor was equipped with modern bathrooms, a hairdryer and a vacuum cleaner – these were modern achievements at the time, but they may make you chuckle now. Paddle through Sweden’s lovely skerry landscape with colourful fishermen huts in a kayak*.

Modern and charming: this is how you will view the home of the Little Mermaid. The monarchy has lived in Copenhagen for nearly 600 years and so, in addition to the historical harbour district of Nyhavn*, you will also be delighted by Amalienborg Palace* or Charlottenborg Palace on Kongens Nytorv* – the present-day art academy. Insights into the private royal collection are granted by Rosenborg Castle* before you reach the royal family’s former place of residence at Christiansborg Palace*.
