Take an island tour* and be enchanted by the picturesque town of Ciutadella with its medieval alleyways and decorated manors, whilst the old gravesite of Naveta de Es Tudons, a testament to megalithic culture, is a testament to the long history of the island. The small fishing village of Fornells, whose small bay can be explored on a kayak tour*, is famous for its crayfish.

A bicycle tour* will lead you along the Turia River to the City of Arts and Sciences – the new landmark of the city.

High above the Andalusian coastal city looms the Arabian Alcazaba fortress, offering you wonderful views of Almeria and the coast. The Catholic cathedral, another destination on your tour*, is also known as a “fortress temple” – the population once took refuge here from pirate invasions. The jeep safari* sets out for the natural paradise of Cabo de Gata and the bird reserve. There, with a little luck, you will get to experience a rare photo opportunity: wild flamingos.

Walk in the footsteps of a great artist: visit the Picasso Museum* in Malaga and the house where the painter was born. A dream as if from the Arabian Nights is located in Granada: the Moorish Alhambra palace*. Seemingly plain from the outside, the palace interior features stunning Nasrid architecture, such as stylised lions, bubbling fountains and artistic ornamentation. The palace gardens are also wonderful.

The minaret of the Hassan II mosque climbs almost 210 metres into the sky, towering over the dynamic coastal city of Casablanca*. This enormous building and its gorgeous interior decorations are also open to people of other faiths who wish to visit. French influences and oriental tradition generate a charming flair in the royal city of Rabat*. Sights include the necropolis Chellah and the unfinished Hassan Tower, Rabat’s landmark. The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is one of the most beautiful of the modern buildings of Islamic architecture.

The cable car will take you at a leisurely pace to the mountains of the “flower island”, where you can visit the enchanting parish of Monte*. Weather permitting, you can enjoy grand panoramic views on the way to Pico do Arieiro*, the second highest summit on the island. On a levada walk*, you can explore a section of the famous waterways which cut through the beautiful countryside. Enjoy dreamlike views and photo opportunities before tasting some traditional Madeira wine.
