Immerse yourself in the historic seafaring atmosphere of the old port of this Hanseatic League town*. These days, small cutters anchor in the spot where fishermen used to bring in their catch during Wismar's heyday in the 14th century. Time also seems to have stood still in the beautifully maintained medieval streets, with their gabled houses and historic market place. A detour to Schwerin Castle* will reward you with some majestic sights - stroll through the romantic grounds and beautiful castle garden and enjoy the views over the picturesque landscape dotted with twelve lakes. To explore the natural beauty of Wismar Bay* take a bicycle tour along the coast to the Hohen Wieschendorf Huk headland. Enjoy the fresh sea breeze, which blows along the coast and over the flat countryside, and enjoy the beautiful views.

The impressive City Hall, the gabled houses in the trendy Nyhavn district and the magical Tivoli gardens– Copenhagen's great variety is what gives the city its unique charm. No visit would be complete without a look at the Little Mermaid on the waterfront. Discover the city's landmark and the enchanting capital by water*, and afterwards take in the panoramic view of the Royal Opera House. A helicopter flight* will take you over towers and canals to the islands offshore, with views of the enormous Öresund Bridge in the distance. This bird's eye view will also give you your first sight of the majestic architecture of the Christiansborg Palace*. Here you will see the seat of the Danish parliament. Queen Margarethe II and Prince Henrik live at the picturesque Amalienborg Palace*, which is built along the canal, whilst in the fairy-tale Rosenborg Palace* you can see the royal collection of paintings, porcelain and crown jewels.
