Situated in a picturesque location amongst fruit trees and olive groves at the foot of the Atlas mountains lies the city known as “Little Marrakech”. Behind the massive walls of the Berber town of Taroudant*, there is a wonderful souk.

    Relaxation at sea

    Saturday, 31.05.2014

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 6.00 – 23.00 hrs

    Santa Cruz de Tenerife/Tenerife/Canary Islands/Spain
With its futuristic auditorium, tropical parks and extensive shopping, this harbour town is a great place to walk around – or you can discover Las Canadas del Teide National Park*. The bizarre landscape features cooled lava flows, fields of ash and dark-coloured steep slopes. La Orotava* is like something straight out of a picture book, with its picturesque narrow streets and wooden balconies. The promenade at Puerto de la Cruz* is a great place to order a cafe cortado.

    Sunday, 01.06.2014

    San Sebastian, 7.00 – 14.00 hrs

    San Sebastian/La Gomera/Canary Islands/Spain
The island where Columbus made his last port of call to stock up on supplies is a subtropical paradise. Several different zones of vegetation lead up to the summit of this volcanic island, which is home to the magical rainforests of the Garajonay National Park*. The botanical tour* will lead you through enormous ferns, light rolling mist and over mossy rocks to the El Cedro* evergreen laurel forest.

    Funchal/Madeira/Portugal
The cable car will take you at a leisurely pace up through the hills of the “flower island” to the delightful village of Monte*. On the way to the Pico de Arieiro*, you will be treated, weather-permitting, to panoramic views across to the neighbouring island of Porto Santo. Witness the traditional way of life in the fishing village of Camara de Lobos* on the way to the breathtaking cliffs of Cabo Girao*. You will be able to talk about your experiences later on over afternoon tea at the legendary Reid’s Palace Hotel*.

    Tuesday, 03.06.2014

    Relaxation at sea

    Wednesday, 04.06.2014

    Ponta Delgada, 7.00 – 23.00 hrs

    Ponta Delgada/Sao Miguel/Azores/Portugal
One thing that is common to all nine of the Azores islands is their beautiful scenery with steep cliffs, green hills and majestic volcanoes. Hot springs can still be found near Furnas*. Mist steams out of fumaroles and some of the hot sulphur springs flow into the thermal lake in the Baroque Parque Terra Nostra*. Europe’s only tea plantation* lies in the valley, where you can learn the secrets of growing and processing tea. Take a jeep tour* to enjoy magnificent views over Sao Miguel, with the blue and green tones of the Sete Cidades crater lakes* sparkling in the distance.

    Thursday, 05.06.2014

    Praia da Vitoria, 8.00 – 24.00 hrs

    Praia da Vitoria/Terceira/Azores/Portugal
The island owes its discovery as the third island in the Azores to the Portuguese, and Angra do Heroismo* has still retained its colonial flair today. Enjoy the best view of the “City of Heroism”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from the summit of Monte Brasil* before taking a stroll past the elegant buildings. Afterwards, visit one of the oldest settlements on the island, Sao Sebastiao*.

    Friday, 06.06.2014

    Madalena, 8.00 – 18.00 hrs
    Horta, arrival 20.00 hrs

    Madalena/Pico/Azores/Portugal
Pico was once a whaling centre and its wine was exported to the Tsar’s Village in St Petersburg. Its historical vineyards have even been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A countryside tour will take you through the lush vegetation of the north coast* to the whaling museum in Sao Roque.

    Saturday, 07.06.2014

    Horta, departure 18.00 hrs

    Horta/Faial/Azores/Portugal
You can find out how the island got its name on a hike to the Faial Caldeira*: glorious hydrangeas thrive right up to the crater itself, from where you can enjoy a far-reaching view. The bleak landscape surrounding the extinct Capelinhos volcano* shows how the island looked when it was first formed: in 1957 it rose thunderously out of the sea, burying a fishing village beneath it.

allowed for a par 3 at 233 metres. The par 5 11th is the longest hole at

    524 metres.

Thu 29 May   Agadir, Morocco – Golf du Soleil

On this magnificent course situated between the expanse of the Atlantic

Ocean and the Atlas Mountains, you will find both relaxation and a

demanding game. There are three different courses to choose from, all of

which are a challenge for players of all handicaps with their lakes,

bridges, waterfalls, bunkers and wide fairways.

Sat 31 May    Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain – Buenavista GC

A marvellous golfing experience awaits on this course, designed by

Severino Ballesteros right alongside the steep cliffs. The spectacular

greens will make you feel as though you are hitting the ball straight

    out to sea.

Mon 2 June    Funchal, Portugal – Palheiro GC

In the beautiful gardens of Quinta do Palheiro, play an exciting game

on the island of flowers – thanks to narrow fairways and strategically

    placed bunkers.

Wed 4 June   Ponta Delgada, Portugal – Campo de Golf Furnas

Tee off on one of the oldest golf courses in the Azores, set in the

midst of the volcanic landscape. The green course was designed by

Scottish architect Mackenzie Ross and is very appealing with 18 holes

    and a British-style club house.

Thu 5 June    Praia da Vitoria, Portugal – Clube de Golf Terceira (additional course)

This championship course lies a lofty 375 m above sea level, surrounded

by rolling hills, little lakes and beautiful flowering scenery.

The EUROPA golf arrangement can only be booked in conjunction with a

cruise and as a package as specified prior to departure. Minimum number

of participants: 10 persons. In the case of an insufficient number of

participants, the cruise will be cancelled 4 weeks before the scheduled

departure at the latest. Please note our general information and the
