Impressive relics of extinct civilisations characterise the start of your expedition when, after setting out from Salaverry, you will explore the Dragon Temple Huaca and Chan Chan*. Here you will follow the trail of the Chimu culture - this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, built around 1300, is probably one of the largest cities in the world to be built with clay. The two temples of the highly developed culture of the Mochica, which you will discover in the Moche Valley with the Pyramid of the Sun and of the Moon*, date back to an even earlier period. Built from millions of clay bricks, the Pyramid of the Sun is regarded as the largest solid building on the American continent, whereas the Pyramid of the Moon is famous for its radiant paintings and frescoes. Precious cultural objects which are followed by the precious treasures of nature.

The BREMEN allows herself three exciting and flexibly organised days to explore the unique ecological system of the Orinoco with you. Climb into the Zodiacs, and discover the narrow branches of the fourth-largest river in the world. In pristine nature you can observe toucans, parrots, flamingos and hummingbirds, listen to the cries of the howler monkeys and, with any luck, sight perhaps even the rare Orinoco crocodile.
