Starting from Ostende you have the opportunity of discovering Bruges on an Expert Excursion: Intensive Tour of Bruges, City of Fine Art* with the art connoisseur Dr Dr Volker Gebhardt . In the almost completely preserved old city time appears to have stood still exactly as in the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages” that you will explore together with the architecture expert Stephan Börries on the Expert Excursion: Ghent  – Trading Metropolis of the Middles Ages*. In the former centre of the cloth trade, merchants’ houses and the Town Hall as well as works of art such as the Ghent Altar reflect the influence and the power of the Church and the bourgeoisie.

On the other hand, Stephan Börries will lead you to a rare jewel of Gothik architecture on the Expert Excursion: Rouen, City of a Hundred Towers*. Alternatively, on an Expert Excursion: Caen and the Bayeux Tapestry* with Dr Dr Volker Gebhardt you will see one of the greatest treasures of the Middle Ages. Over a length of more than 60 m the woven work of art precisely illustrates the conquest of England by William the Conqueror. Indeed a true eye-opener which is followed by a wonderful aural indulgence - in the evening an Exclusive Classical Concert awaits you in a former salt store dating from 17th century.
